We Continue to grow at My Father's House

Finding a job can be difficult,, especially if you've never had one before. Many times our young families have never had a job and don't know what is expected or what is appropriate. Our jobs program is designed to teach our residents the soft skills. What to wear, when to show up, skills that give them an edge in getting and keeping the job.

The best way for this to happen is for them to not only learn how to be a good employee but also practice being a good employee. Our program values are Relationship-Responsibility and Accountability. Working with the young moms and dads teaching them responsibility, from our relationship with them and then holding them accountable in order for them to be the best employee!

In order to this, we're embarking on building a jobs center where they can learn and earn at the same time. We call this "The Journey" It's the last of our campus and so vital to the success of young families entering the work force and learning to provide for their families without government assistance.
